I’ve been fascinated by horses since I was a child and always dreamed of seeing this game up close. But as a girl, I wasn’t allowed to watch it in person.
Buzkashi is more than just a sport; it reflects the strength, spirit, and deep-rooted traditions of Afghan culture. Through this painting, I wanted to share a part of my heritage and help others understand the richness of Afghan life and the resilience of its people.
